Passing of Ron Hansell

It is with great sadness that we report the death of the Department Judge Advocate Ron Hansell of Lolo Post #135, who also was serving as the Sons of the American Legion Detachment of Montana Commander.

Cause of death has not been determined yet.

We are all sad that Ron has left us.
But he did not leave us untouched.
He left behind some wonderful stories.
Some are touching, some are funny.
I am greedy. I want to hear them all.
Please come to a celebration of Ron's life with us.
Music was a vital part of Ron's life so,
If you have a musical instrument,
BRING IT!!
If you don't have an instrument, you still have a voice.
BRING IT!!
If you have a good story to tell us.
TELL IT!!
If Ron gave you a goofy hat or tie,
WEAR IT!!
I want to leave with my sides aching from laughter,
and my voice hoarse from singing.
I want you to leave that way,too.

The time: Saturday, February 27th 5:00 pm to when they bring in the Big Bouncer
The place: The Silk Road (upstairs), 515 South Higgins
(on The Hip Strip just south of Higgins Street Bridge)
A separate street-level door will take you directly upstairs
Please bring a dish to share
No host bar, with a lovely selection of wines and beer, craft soft drinks
