Garage and Yard Sale

American Legion Post #2, American Legion Auxiliary Unit #2 and Voiture 718, 40 & 8 Society are holding their annual Garage and Yard Sale on Saturday, July 18, 2009, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (0800-1700) at the Post Home, 3095 Villard Avenue (On the corner of Custer and Villard.

The American Legion Garage Sales Team will accept items as donations on Friday July 17, 10:00 am - 5 pm. Please call the points of contact below to make any arrangements. We need volunteers to work on Friday to accept the donations and agian to operate the garage sale on Saturday.

The American Legion Family of Lewis Post # 2 appreciates your support in raising funds for the many community based programs. Proceeds from the sale will support our four pillar programs, Veterans, Children and Youth, Americanism and National Security. These programs include:

• The American Legion High School Oratorical Program 60+ years
• American Legion Boys State 60+ years
• American Legion Auxiliary Girls State 50+ years
• Junior Shooting Sports Programs 19 years
• The Children's Miracle Network (Shodair Children's Hospital)
• Volunteer programs at the Veterans Administration Center at Ft Harrison
• Volunteer programs at the Veterans Rest Homes in Columbia Falls and Miles City
